

Courtney Lossmann, LCSW, Mediator
Courtney Lossmann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified professional mediator dedicated to helping individuals build healthier relationships and resolve conflicts with respect and clarity. She works with clients ages 18 and older, offering counseling and mediation services that emphasize personal growth, meaningful connection, and constructive communication.

Courtney believes that everyone has an innate need to belong—nurtured not only through the relationships we have with others, but also through the relationship we cultivate with ourselves. She is passionate about promoting healthy connections in all areas of life, viewing relationships as the foundation of wholeness and fulfillment. In her counseling work, Courtney takes a holistic approach, integrating research-based theories to tailor her support to each client’s unique needs. She pays special attention to interactional patterns within family and relational systems, guiding clients toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth.

Courtney is trained in Level 1 and 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and has experience supporting clients through separation and divorce, family conflict, co-parenting challenges, and blended family dynamics. Her previous professional background also includes work in addiction recovery, crisis intervention, and advocacy for children in foster care.

As a mediator, Courtney brings a calm, balanced presence and her counseling expertise to help parties move through difficult conversations. She has successfully mediated cases involving divorce, custody, property division, landlord–tenant disputes, and small claims matters. Known for her empathetic listening, impartiality, and ability to simplify complex issues, Courtney strives to create a process where each party feels heard and supported.
Courtney is certified through the Idaho Mediation Association, where she previously served on the Board of Directors, and she is listed on the Idaho Supreme Court’s roster of approved Child Custody Mediators. Committed to lifelong learning, she continues to pursue advanced training in conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship-based practices.
